It is the Interland competition this weekend, where the English team competes against teams from the Netherlands and two regions of Belgium. Congratulations and good luck to the following selected squad members: Dane Blomquist (M14), Peter Bray (M18) and Jane Morgan (W50).
Our next training session is on Saturday, 7th November 2009, at Hawley, Near Blackwater, Camberley.
The meeting place/car park to be used for the event is GR SU842591.
This is down Woodside Road off the A30 Blackwater Roundabout, at the back of the houses on the road entry to the northeast part of the forest. We will meet there and then travel together into the forest.
Our next training session is on Saturday 3rd October 2009, at Pamber Forest, Near Silchester.
The meeting place/car park to be used for the event [GR SU623611], is next to an abandoned building before the Sewerage works. There will be an "O" sign up on the road between Little London and Silchester to indicate the turning.

Squad training will be at Blackwood this Saturday, 6th June 2009. As usual, please arrive for 1015 hrs to start at 1030 hrs. We should finish by 1500 hrs.
Meeting place will be by the SCATS building, at SU532423, [off Larkwhistle Farm Road to the south-east of Micheldever Station] .

The Southern Championships were run at the Interland competition was held at Egypt Wood and Burnham Beeches on Sunday, 22nd February 2009.
There were championship wins for several squaddies and helpers - Megan Bett (SN, W12A), Mark Salmon (TVOC, M18A), Jane Morgan (SOC, W45L), Roger Thetford (TVOC, M45L), Roger Baker (TVOC, M75L) and recent squad member Anne Edwards (TVOC and OUOC, W20E).
Wow!! Excellent squad results at last weekend's British Orienteering Championships, held at Hampton Ridge in the New Forest.
Our squad's new British champions are Fiona Bunn (W10A), Tim Morgan (M12A), Katherine Bett (W14A), Alex Moore (M18S) and Jane Morgan (W45L). Peter Bray also had a great run to come in 2nd on M16A.
