Project 61: SEACHEM – Sound Management of Chemicals and their Associated Wastes in Southeast ASIA
SCJS are proud to be leading on Project 61, an EU funded CBRNe project to achieve enhanced chemical safety and security in the Southeast Asia region, taking country-specific baseline situations into account.
The purpose of the project is to address outstanding chemical safety and security issues in areas of legislation/regulation, prevention, detection, preparedness and response. The project will address not only the sound management of chemicals and their wastes but also take emerging chemical issues into account.
Project 61 covers the following countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
